Ferndale House is very lucky to have an oral surgeon at the practice who is able to offer our patients the best possible care and who specialises in treating patients who have underlying medical conditions or who are nervous or anxious patients.

We offer an oral surgery clinic twice a month and are happy to take referrals for any oral surgery procedure as well as routine treatment for phobic patients.

Over 20 years experience

With over 20 years of experience in Oral Surgery, our oral surgeon is very comfortable and proficient with the following:

  • Surgical third molars
  • Apicectomy
  • Retained Roots
  • Pre-prosthetic surgery
  • Closure of Oro-antral communications
  • Medically compromised patients from simple extractions to complex oral surgery
  • TMJ pain dysfunctions
  • Orthodontic surgery eg canine expose & bond, frenectomy etc
  • Difficult extractions
  • Local anaesthetic complications
  • Challenging patients due to complex needs (phobias, anxiety, etc)
