Treatments using a laser has advanced significantly over recent years. It is specialist treatment that we use every day in our dental practice to help in promoting healthy teeth and gums.

We use the Epic X diode laser, which is an all-in-one laser for use in everyday treatments as well as pain therapy.

Pain therapy

The EPIC works as a topical heating device that helps to temporarily increase your blood circulation as well as to temporarily relax your muscles. The EPIC is then able to temporarily relieve joint pain and stiffness.

Oral surgery

The EPIC laser gum treatment is a relatively painless procedure that removes inflamed areas and infected tissue from inside the gums. Improved healing of the gum tissue follows treatment along with proper oral care.

Whitening

The EPIC treatment process lightens dark, yellowed, or discoloured enamel caused by tobacco, food, and beverages such as tea, coffee and red wine. Results are noticeable immediately after the procedure.

Gum Disease

Epic Laser Dentistry may be recommended as part of your treatment plan during the early stages of gum disease to prevent the progression of this disease.

Oral Lesions

Epic Laser Dentistry can safely and efficiently treat cold sores and canker sores on your lips, tongue, inner cheek, and gums — often relieving pain immediately.
